SilentLab created a dedicated private zone at ČSOB using several SUMMIT acoustic pods for 4–6 people. Designed for premium banking, the space ensures privacy and deep focus for sensitive client conversations.
Premium banking places high demands on the environment in which client communication takes place. Discretion, calm, and the ability to fully focus are not an added benefit, but a fundamental requirement for high-quality service—especially as bank workplaces are increasingly shifting toward open-office layouts. At one of its ČSOB branches, SilentLab therefore installed a private zone directly within the open office: a total of eight SUMMIT acoustic pods in 4- and 6-person configurations, providing a dedicated space without the need for any construction work. The key benefit is acoustic insulation—sensitive conversations remain inside, while the surrounding branch operations are not disturbed, allowing both clients and bank advisors to stay fully focused.
Unlike traditional meeting rooms, SilentLab pods are not permanently tied to a single layout. They can be relocated or rearranged according to the branch’s current needs, reducing costs and minimizing the risks of long-term structural modifications while supporting future flexibility. The solution also enables well-designed workplace zoning: the larger SUMMIT pod serves as an alternative to a meeting room and can be complemented with smaller acoustic pods for individual calls, focused work, or discreet discussions. This creates a complete ecosystem for the team’s everyday operations. Comfort during longer meetings is enhanced by Spectrasol natural daylight, efficient ventilation, a control display for individual settings, an occupancy indicator (red when occupied), and the option to connect to a booking system—features that help maintain a consistently high-quality environment and professional client service.
Most often, I use the acoustic pod for meetings with clients where we discuss sensitive topics. I appreciate its discretion—there are no distractions from the surroundings, and at the same time, we can’t be heard from outside. It’s a space where I can fully focus on the client. It would work just as well for phone calls or outbound calling.
